Admission Process

How to Apply

- Submit the filled form along with necessary documents to the Office of the Vedic Vishva Vidyapeeth, Kolkata.
Necessary Documents
For both online and offline applications, the following documents are required:
- Recent passport-sized photographs
- Copies of academic transcripts and certificates
- Proof of identity (Aadhar card, passport, etc.)
- Proof of address
- Any other documents specified in the program-specific eligibility criteria
Eligibility Criteria
Certificate Programs:
- Minimum qualification: High School (10th grade) or equivalent
Diploma Programs:
- Minimum qualification: High School (10th grade) or equivalent
- Some programs may require completion of 12th grade or equivalent
Advanced Diploma Programs:
- Minimum qualification: 12th grade (or equivalent) or completion of a relevant diploma program
Postgraduate Diploma (PG Diploma) Programs:
- Minimum qualification: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
Bachelor’s Programs:
- Minimum qualification: 12th grade (or equivalent) with a minimum specified percentage
Master’s Programs:
- Minimum qualification: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with a minimum specified percentage
Ph.D. Programs:
- Minimum qualification: Master’s degree in a relevant field with a strong academic record
- Additional requirements may include a research proposal, letters of recommendation, and entrance test scores
General Admission Rules
- All students admitted to the institute must observe the rules and regulations that the institute may frame from time to time.
- Students are required to maintain absolute self-discipline on the institute campus. Violation of rules will result in severe disciplinary action against the offender, including a warning, a fine or suspension/expulsion from the institute or hostel or both, depending on the gravity of the offence. In case of expulsion, the student will forfeit all the deposits and shall not be eligible for any claim. Ragging of any kind is strictly prohibited.
- All students will be required to give an undertaking duly countersigned by the parent(s)/ guardian(s) that they will abide by the rules and regulations of the institute, including the hostels.
- Each student is responsible for the proper handling and safe custody of any apparatus or equipment that he/she may be using. In case of any intentional or negligent damage or loss to the institute's property, the student shall have to pay the cost of repair or replacement.
- Student must show respect and obedience to all members of the staff as well as the managing authorities of the institute, or else it will be tantamount to indiscipline.
- Every student shall have to attend classes (Online/Offline) and practicals. They are not supposed to leave the institute premises without the permission of the dean/Director/Principal/Teacher of the institute. 80% attendance is compulsory in all academic activities. Students failing to attain the prescribed attendance will not be allowed to appear in the university examination. Students will strictly adhere to the prescribed dress code of the institute.
- In case of illness, permission has to be obtained from the head of the institute to remain absent from studies.
- The fee schedule is to be cleared for all categories of students according to sessions/semester wise as per Institute / University schedule. In case a fee is not deposited till the due date, a late fee of Rs. 1,000/- will be charged for the next fifteen days. Failing to meet this deadline will automatically cause the name of the student to be struck off the rolls of the institute. Fees shall only be received through Cash/ Online UPI Transfer / Bank Account Transfer / Card Transfer or demand draft.
- Once the fee is deposited, it will not be refunded, transferred or adjusted in any circumstances. If a student leaves the course in mid-term, he/she will be liable to pay the balance of the fee for the whole course. Except where otherwise required by applicable law or where the competent authority of the Institute, in its sole discretion, approves a refund in writing.
- It is compulsory for the student to take all weekly, monthly and spot tests/examinations. Students abstaining from these tests shall be severely dealt with. Make-up tests/examinations are a prerequisite for them and can be taken on payment of Rs. 1,000/-per each test/examination. Exemption to a student from the tests/examinations is permitted only in case of hospitalisation.
- President/Chairman of the institute reserves the right to rusticate the student found indulging in acts prejudicial to the interest of the institute or involved in gross indiscipline or immoral acts.
- All Scholarships and fee concessions should earn 80% of attendance, failing which the entire Scholarship and Fee concession amount will be refunded to the institute.
Additional Legal Terms & Conditions
Admission Confirmation
Admission shall be deemed confirmed only after verification of eligibility, submission of all required documents, payment of the prescribed fees, and approval by the Institute.
Refund Policy
The applicant acknowledges that admission processing, seat reservation, document verification, administrative work and academic planning commence immediately after admission. Therefore, all fees once paid are ordinarily non-refundable, non-transferable and non-adjustable, except where the Institute decides otherwise in writing or where applicable law requires a refund.
No Verbal Commitment
No oral assurance, telephone conversation, WhatsApp message or statement made by any employee or representative shall constitute a binding commitment regarding admission, refund or any concession unless confirmed in writing by the Institute through its competent authority.
Official Communication
All requests relating to admission, withdrawal, cancellation, refund or grievance must be submitted in writing to the Institute. The Institute shall communicate its decision only through official written communication.
Seat Reservation
The fee paid secures the applicant's seat. If the applicant voluntarily withdraws after admission, the Institute may treat the seat as blocked and process the matter according to the Institute's Rules and Regulations.
Institute's Discretion
Any relaxation, concession or refund, if granted in exceptional circumstances, shall be entirely at the discretion of the competent authority of the Institute and shall not create any precedent or right for any other student.
Jurisdiction
Any dispute arising out of admission, fees or academic matters shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent Courts at Kolkata, West Bengal, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
Acceptance
Submission of the Admission Form, payment of fees and signing of the Rules & Regulations shall constitute acceptance of all terms and conditions of the Institute by the applicant and, wherever applicable, the parent/guardian.
